Livi has been practicing ballet under Studio Dance by Lina for over two years now. She started taking classes at the studio and has continued to take online classes since the start of the pandemic.

We’re more than happy to watch her grow as a young ballerina under teacher Lina’s guidance. It’s a delight to see her dance during ballet classes, participate in recitals, and most of all enjoy ballet by making her own choreographies!

This is all thanks to teacher Lina’s genuine care for and patience with her students (especially with Livi who may be one the of the youngest in her class).

Teacher Lina is such a gift to us! When my daughter said she wanted to learn ballet, I wanted to find a studio and, more importantly, a teacher who will fit positive discipline and intentional parenting values and I'm so happy we found Teacher Lina and Studio Dance by Lina. I admire how Teacher Lina is able to treat her students with grace, respect, and kindness; and still foster age-appropriate standards of discipline and excellence in them. I also admire Teacher Lina's meticulousness to detail--seeing what each child needs to work on--and she has a very positive and encouraging way to communicate corrections and areas of improvement. But this attention to detail and care for her students go beyond ballet class because I have seen how Teacher Lina supports students in other aspects--like body positivity for one. And on top of all these, I'm impressed with Teacher Lina's training, technique, talent, and taste (her music, choreography, and costumes are always lovely) and I'm so thankful that she is a good model for my daughter--not only in ballet, but also in character.
